That means spending more time one-on-one to listen and fully understand your specific needs and problems. We do all our own testing onsite and we’ll guide you every step of the way towards the best solution and outcome that works for you.
Comprehensive Eye Examinations
Around 90% of vision loss and impairment in Australia is preventable or treatable if detected early enough, so it’s vital to maintain regular eye health check ups to monitor changes in your eyes over time. We’ll not only thoroughly test your vision but also look for any early signs of conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and cataracts, among others. Our comprehensive eye examinations are bulk billed with Medicare, with some additional testing attracting a small fee.
Digital Retinal Imaging & OCT Technology
Using the latest in advanced, state of the art optical technology, we can take detailed pictures of the back of the eye for a more accurate analysis and diagnosis of any potential issues or abnormalities that may have been picked up during a comprehensive eye examination.

Vision problems in children can easily go undetected in the early years so it’s recommended to have your child’s eyesight checked prior to starting school and each year thereafter to help give them the best start in their education.
Contact Lens Assessments
If you’re thinking about trying contact lenses or if you want to change the lenses you’re currently using, we can help.
Unlike the bigger optical stores, optometrist Guy will work with you throughout the whole process, from your initial vision assessment to fitting you with trial lenses.

We’ll help you choose the perfect style for your face and lifestyle and find frames you’ll love.
Repairs
& Adjustments
We offer free cleaning, repairs and adjustments for all our customers.
Unlike other optical stores, who have to send work off to their labs on the east coast, we have an onsite workshop at our practice in Kalamunda and can fit new lenses into your old frames within half an hour.
Complex lenses may need to be ordered in but we offer a fast turnaround once the lenses are ground.
